Work experience in London has started
Twenty-one of our students from the fourth-fifth year have been getting involved in working in charity shops and be a tour guide in museums
This stunning experience has just started: actually twenty-one of our students from the fourth-fifth year have been getting more and more involved in working in charity shops and be a tour guide in museums as well, since the first day of our stay in London.
Tour guide workshop
Be prepared, at the end of these two weeks our students will be remarkable tour guides. They are learning some historical information about the city, how to express them and reframe in case of tricky questions. This way tourists will never forget a memorable experience.
Guides are like actors performing a play or a script, they have to bring the text to life. How is it possible? The storytelling workshop will reveal us some secrets...
Practice
Time passes and the students are all so busy studying pictures and strategies to be tour leaders, but also pricing, cashing, dealing with customers and preparing on-line delivery packages in shops.
Being aware of a self-growth
What is definitely amazing is their high level of personal engagement as if they were becoming more and more self-conscious of the great opportunity they have to be real protagonists in a big breathtaking city like London.
So.... Let's carry on, let's drink London life to the lees. Actually, last night the musical Les Misérables was definitely worthwhile being all the singer-actors incredibly performing.
To be continued...
